1977. INCEPTION.
Founded in Italy in 1977 by Pierantonio Forato, Pespow starts out as a family business specializing mainly in handcrafted, leather outerwear that is made in Italy.

1983-1986. DIVERSIFICATION.
Following the rising popularity of sportswear in England and the United States and exploiting its expertise in leather, Pespow branches out into the design and production of sportswear featuring combinations of fabric and leather. This marks the era of partnerships with HENRY COTTONS, BROOKSFIELD and CALVIN KLEIN.

1986-1992. MORE THAN JUST SPORTSWEAR.
When leading brands of classic fashion broaden their scope to include outerwear, Pespow becomes involved in the process and acquires expertise in formal wear. As the industry moves towards vertical integration, new technologies such as CAD, make it possible to offer complete turnkey solutions. This marks a new era of partnerships with PAL ZILERI, ARMANI, BRIONI, CORNELIANI and GFT GROUP.

1990-1995. 100,000 GARMENTS!
Pespow ventures beyond Made in Italy products and starts manufacturing in other European countries such as Croatia, Slovenia and later also Romania. Armed with know-how and experience in new technologies, Pespow embarks upon a partnership with LORO PIANA, a sponsor of the 1992 Olympic Games. This partnership has continued to present day and is a testimony to the trust between the two companies and the value they place on quality.

1995-2000. EXPERIMENTS.
A close collaboration with Massimo Osti provides the ideal opportunity to develop skills in garment dyeing and new fabric treatment processes. Partnerships with BURBERRY, DUNHILL and DAKS start around this time.

2001-2008. GLOBALISATION.
From family business to joint-stock company, Pespow demonstrates how far it has gone by accessing Asia markets and soon becoming an internationally recognised authority in sportswear. This period marks the start of partnerships with MARINA YACHTING, TODS, HOGAN, MONCLER, WOOLRICH and ZEGNA.

2009-2010. NEW COLLECTIONS.
Together with celebrated designers such as Paul Harvey and Alessandro Pungetti, Pespow launches Ten C, a brand featuring innovative fabric treatments. The following year sees the launch of CHAT C WIN, a project that experiments new technological solutions.

2014-2018. SOUTH KOREA.
Pespow collaborates with a plethora of Clients in South Korea and soon becomes well known. Pespow now has partnerships with South Korea’s leading outerwear brands.
